I love traditional architecture – bricks, wood and tiled roofs. A friend said the style is very ‘shabby sheek’ and I like that description! This design is currently on the feet of the creator of shoedeedoo. A personal favourite!

I know this pair isn’t red and glittery. But, somehow there’s something about this pair that makes me want to tap the heels together three times and be brought away to a place of imagination. Not quite the Wizard of Oz story, I know. Maybe that’s why they aren’t red and glittery ;)

1. Gerbera , Size 7

There’s just something happy about sunflowers, daisies and gerberas. But, happy doesn’t have to be without attitude and this pair does just that – exude happy AND attitude. Purple and yellow are such lovely complementary colours (:

2.Build(one), Size 6

Quirky cartoon-like buildings.
B&W so that it has some edge to it and retains versatility.
A friend commented that the buildings look like they have faces
which makes this pair come alive with imagination (:

3. Simply Dotty (Blue), Size 7

Polka dots are popular and I personally love them.
But they certainly don’t have to be boring and clone-like.

With the asymmetry element added, polka dots will never quite be the same!

While I love colour, there’s just something
attractive about the simplicity of a B&W pair.
To make up for the possible plainness, my B&W
creations often come with added detailing to
add texture and depth into the drawings.

*ALPHABET SOUP (B&W) , Size 7
Stencils are fabulous things to work with.
But tricky when you have a soft uneven surface!
I love the “grunge” feel of this pair.
Something a bit more edgy and different from
the popular selling florals.

*ALPHABET SOUP (Colour) , Size 6
With happy-bright colours, this pair exudes a
childlikeness that just brightens up the day.
My inspiration? Sesame Street! ^-^

*WHIRLY TWIRLY , Size 7
One of my first few creations ^-^.
A vintage-like asymmetrical design.
Painted bits are in gradients of red-orange-yellow.
Not very distinctive from far, but something
someone with an eye for detail would appreciate.

*TO-MAY-TO, TO-MAH-TO , Size 8
I like doing quirky, random designs.
And, I love tomatoes! A striking pair that is
fun-loving and cute.

*SIMPLY DOTTY (Pink) , Size 5

BlueJade

This pair was designed with Jean in mind. This was what she provided me, on her personality, to help with my designing (:

Generally quiet and simple.
Enjoys reading, running and resting.
Loves taking walks in the parks and watching the sunset.
Absolutely loves flowers and bright and sweet colours.
Favourite flowers are gerbaras, roses, lilies, tulips.
Favourite colours are blue and orange.

This pair is named BlueJade because of the jade-like-textured flowers. I love the way this pair turned out! A versatile pair due to it's soft & bold colour mixture. Will look fabulous in shorts, jeans, a skirt, even dresses. The pastel yellow filaments brings life to the flowers (:

Floral02

This pair is made specially for Wendy (:

She pretty much let me do my own thing but told me her fav was Floral01 and that she would like pink to be the predominant colour.

Sooooo.. taa-daa! This is what I came up with (:

Another pair that I think is versatile in the sense that it would look sweet with a dress and cool with jeans. I'm not so sure I "prescribe" any of my shoes for wearing with slacks though! Hahahah! I think the material of the shoe pretty much makes it a casual-wear shoe.

Floral02 is eye-catching, sweet and with attitude.

(Well, at least I think so? :P :D)

ModernChinese (gift, not for sale)

This pair was crafted for the girl who was supposed to receive Floral01 (which was a size to big for her! :P)

The flowers are in soft shades of pink and purple, the leaves are a faded minty green.

This sweet-to-bits pair ended up giving me a "cheongsam" feel hence the name 'ModernChinese'. Tradition with a fresh young look.

I hope she likes it! *fingers crossed*

Btw, feedback is welcome. Positive ones more welcome than negative ones =p HAHAHAHA!

Pastel Flowers

Pastel [pa-stel; especially Brit. pas-tl] –noun

a color having a soft, subdued shade.

A sweet pair with soft, fresh, clean colours. Or if left to me, I would describe it as marshmellow colours! ^.^ This one was made with the following directives: pastel, pinks, a merge between Dandelions and Floral01. I think it turned out more of a merge between Lilies and Floral01. But, the 'softness' of this pair does bring to mind Dandelions.

Lilies in purple background (:

The request was: "Lilies, but I’ll like the background to be midnight rose combination."

And the end product is as shown (: Lilies embedded in a background of reds and purples. I think it's a great combination. So, thanks! to the customer for suggesting it :D I had fun making this pair.
