This is my first male shoe design (:
Made is as a gift for a friend. Was quite a challenge as I like doing weird things but this friend has a very quiet, calm personality... not at all volatile and psychotic like me. lol :P.
Made this for his birthday. He had to work for it though. LOL. He helped me get a fresh batch of shoes to design on.
I've been a bit busy, "away" from my designing for the past two weeks. When I stop, it tends to be a bit hard for me to get going again. But when I do, I find myself loving it. I do like creating new designs and putting ideas into reality...
This was my attempt to make something that would not be too out-of-this-world, something I hope he would be comfortable wearing, yet something unique and fashionable (Again, I hope :P) Angles/perspectives and tones were used to bring more dimension into the shoes.. Colour was picked based on what I know of his wardrobe.
